Final FylmK 2024 Commissions Announced

Screen Cornwall is delighted to share three further announcements of new short film work in Kernewek through our FylmK Purr Verr (Very Short) and FylmK Meur (Plus) strands. Following a short period of paid development with each of the teams, these projects complete our FylmK funding for 2024 with 5 projects supported in total compared to a maximum of 2 in previous years.

These projects will run alongside those recently announced across Feature Film development, Immersive Nature, Documentary, Scripted Comedy and FylmK strands - read more about the other commissions here.

This project is part-funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. Cornwall Council has been chosen by Government as a Lead Authority for the fund and is responsible for monitoring the progress of projects funded through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. The project is also supported with funding through the Devolution Deal for Cornwall.
