Cornish Language children's commission announced

Following an open call and interview process at the end of 2019, we are pleased to announce that children's commission for pilot and series plan has been awarded to Goldentree Productions in partnership with Engine House VFX. Together they will bring to life in animation The Tales from Porth series of books, which are already well-loved tools in children's Cornish Language education.

Working with the Cornish Language Unit at Cornwall Council, executive producer Denzil Monk said ''Beginning production of the first Kernewek (Cornish language) children’s series – transforming the popular world of 'Drollys Dhyworth Porth' from page to screen – marks an important and exciting step on our path towards a Cornish public service media, providing quality, fun and engaging programmes for children growing up with Cornish".
