Graduate Shorts Commission 2023

We are delighted to announce this year’s Graduate Shorts commissions. Once again we partnered with Falmouth University’s Sound/Image Cinema Lab and new partners Atlantek and Cornish Camera Co. to support three short films whose stories are deeply rooted in Cornwall. The fund enables students and alumni to transition from university into industry and previous commissions have gone on to be co-funded by BFI NETWORK and achieve festival success. The commission has continued to grow year on year, with 2023 brining a new caliber of application and tough decisions for our commissioning panel. We wish all the filmmakers the best with their projects.
