Location of the month: Eden Project

This month we are showcasing the world-famous Eden Project, a haven of biological diversity within its tropical bio-domes and outdoor gardens.

Eden has been accommodating international film & TV drama productions for the last twenty years including DIE ANOTHER DAY and the latest Netflix Youth audiences series THE LAST BUS.

Situated three miles outside St Austell, Eden Project sprawls over twenty acres across a variety of landscapes and horticulture, including the incredible rainforest biomes that Eden Project is famous for. With ample parking on-site and easy access for large vehicles, there is a plethora of different ways that Eden can be utilised for filming, including practical solutions for storage and production offices.

Although the Eden Project is mindful of putting the visitor experience first, staff are well versed in facilitating filming. This has included productions often making use of the space out of hours, like the incredibly popular Eden Sessions.

When looking to film at the Eden, it is important to note that it is an educational charity who takes a keen interest in the productions looking to film at Eden and whether they align with its core values and ecological mission.

To discuss how the Eden Project could be a good fit for your production, contact the Screen Cornwall team for advice.
