The Peninsula Producers Network is a dedicated development program for new and emerging producing talent based in Cornwall and Devon. Now in its fifth year, the initiative is a collaboration between Screen Cornwall, Exeter Phoenix, and BFI NETWORK South West.
The network was established to provide regional producers with a consistent support system. Through a mix of online sessions and in-person training, the program focuses on the practicalities of the industry helping talent sharpen their production skills and gain a deeper understanding of how to reach audiences and navigate distribution.
How it Works
The program is designed to be flexible but intensive, ensuring producers can grow their careers within the southwest.

Since its inception, the Peninsula Producers Network has supported five cohorts of talent, helping to strengthen the filmmaking infrastructure across the South West peninsula.

Delivered by Screen Cornwall and Exeter Phoenix in partnership with BFI NETWORK South West, the network provides a structured environment for writers to take their ideas from initial concept to a polished short film script.
The programme is built around the understanding that writing can be a solitary process. By connecting writers with both industry experts and a local peer group, we help bridge the gap between a private draft and a production ready screenplay.
What the Programme Offers
