Celtic Media Festival

The Celtic crescent

The annual Celtic Media Festival is a joyful celebration of screen and audio work from the Celtic nations and minority languages of Europe.

Screen Cornwall has been pleased to be on the Board for the last four years and was proud to welcome the festival to Newquay in 2025, the first time it had been hosted in Cornwall since 2014.

Each year we encourage filmmakers at all levels to enter their work and have seen a consistently strong level of nominations.

2026 nominations!

This year Cornwall has 13 nominations, 4 of which are in the Cornish Language.
